Ukrainian developer GSC Game World announces the release of STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl forward to 2023. Normally the game would be released by the end of this year, but due to the war in Ukraine that is no longer feasible.
In a new Dev Diary, the developers show how the war has changed their lives in recent months. Some have relocated to Prague, others continue to work on the game from their Kyiv headquarters, while other developers are currently at war.
Logically, GSC Game World cannot yet give an exact new release date. Previously, the developer changed the game’s subtitle from Heart of Chernobyl to Heart of Chornobyl, the Ukrainian spelling of the word.
